By using Locls Club (the "Service"), including our website at locls.club and our SMS service, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.
Locls Club is a community-powered surf report for Venice Beach and surrounding areas. The Service includes:
- A website displaying surf conditions based on buoy data and user reports
- An SMS feature where you can text your surf report and receive a confirmation
- A Surf Diary feature to view your past reports
The Service is provided "as is" for informational purposes only.
When you submit a surf report via SMS:
- Your report may be displayed publicly on our website
- Your phone number will be masked (only last 4 digits shown)
- You grant us permission to display and use your report content
- You agree not to submit false, misleading, or harmful content
- You agree not to submit spam, advertising, or offensive content
We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these terms.

- You consent to receive a confirmation reply and occasional follow-up questions about your report
- Message and data rates may apply
- Text STOP to opt out at any time

Not professional advice: Surf conditions and reports are for informational purposes only. Always use your own judgment when deciding whether to surf. Ocean conditions can be dangerous.
No guarantees: We don't guarantee the accuracy of buoy data, user reports, or any information on the Service. Conditions change rapidly and reports may not reflect current conditions.
User-submitted content: Reports from other users reflect their personal observations and opinions. We don't verify user reports.
Service availability: We don't guarantee the Service will be available at all times. We may modify or discontinue the Service at any time.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Locls Club and its operators shall not be liable for any injuries, damages, or losses resulting from your use of the Service or reliance on information provided through the Service.
Surfing is inherently dangerous. You assume all risks associated with surfing and ocean activities.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
